Hey, it’s that time of the year!
The first HempCon of 2011 is quickly approaching and VaporStore’s attendance will be bigger and better than shows past. HempCon begins January 28that the San Jose Convention Center and runs through January 30th.
Since hemp is officially acknowledged as a trillion dollar crop, more and more people are starting to see hemp as an eco-friendly, revolutionary fiber of the past, present and future. It can be used for textiles, paper, building materials, fuel, food and personal care products. Hemp is one of the few crops that can be grown with no toxic chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides.
Henry Ford once said, “Why use the forests which were centuries in the making and the mines which required ages to lay down, if we can get the equivalent of forest and mineral products in the annual growth of the fields?”
Amplifying efforts of the past, 2011 will see educators, activists, investors, entrepreneurs, environmentalists, patients and cultivators promoting exactly how hemp can be used by more industries without adding stress to the environment and without inflating cost for retailers and the end user—you!
